Miravar25 day 7

Last day of Miravar25. After a complete sunny week, we wake up surrounded by low coluds. As some dinghies of the fleet point toward La Londe, other sail back to launching harbour at Le Brusc.

Dinghies on the trailers, everyone starts his trip home with great memories!

Miravar25 day 6

Long sailing day! The wind picks up quite early from S-E and the fleet sails upwind to Port-Cros, the most iconic island of the arcipelago. Then, turned around the small Bagaud island, downwind to the land, ending to la Plage de Cabasson.

Miravar25 day 5

From la Langoustier to la Plage de Notre Dame. Very light winds prevent us from sailing around Porquerolles island. However we all have a nice sailing finally discovering a beautiful spot for the night.

Miravar25 day 4

Passage from la Hyères (plage de la Badine) to Porquerolles (plage de Langoustier). Still good weather condition. Once on the island, some crew members visiting the village and the nice Fondation Carmignac, contemporary art museum.

miravar25 day 3

Feeble winds and lots of residual swell made the passage from Mejan to Hyères quite challenging. The reward was a nice party on the beach!

MIRAVAR 25 day 2

Mistral, 20 to 25 knots, challenging the fleet of 14 boats to sail from fabregas to Anse Mejan. We sailed safely through a military firing exercise 😲. Some boats then went on to explore underwater caves and the military port of Toulon as the winds freshened even further . Quiet night for a well deserved rest!
